     So, the assignment was to design a Valentine's Day card in a Victorian style. I decided to stay away from the soft little watercolor illustrations of cherubs and roses and feature some people I could actually relate to. I would love to continue this series, and maybe even throw in a few modern-day freaks.  The typography was inspired by the turn-of-the-century "health manual" Vitalogy.
